Aly grew up in Southern California before relocating to Boston in 2015. As a college student, God sparked in Aly a longing for an expression of church that cared for both souls and societies. 

Before moving to Boston, she served on staff with Novo, a band of creative missionaries sent to multiply movements of the gospel and mobilize the church for that mission around the world. She studied Spiritual Formation & Soul Care at Talbot Seminary and helped start and lead a handful of missional communities across Southern California.

In addition to her role at The Garden Church, Aly works as a coach, spiritual director, and experience designer. She helped co-found The Table Boston with her husband, Josh, and previously worked as Head of People & Culture for a start-up social enterprise in Boston.

Aly is a certified transformational coach and spiritual director. She is intuitive, discerning, and attuned to what’s happening below the surface in both individuals and communities. More than anything, Aly longs to see people experience the love of Jesus and have their identities recast in Him. She lives in Dorchester with her husband, Josh and their daughter, Ava.
