Join Mandi and Nicole for our annual tradition — a free performance of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" by the Commonwealth Shakespeare Company on Boston Common.

We'll reserve a spot, lay out a picnic, and settle in together before the show.

We'll claim our spot by 7:00 PM so folks have time to hang out and picnic before the 8:00 PM curtain. Bring snacks to share and a picnic blanket to sit on. Bingo cards with all the classic Shakespearean tropes will be on hand for a little extra fun during the show.

This event runs late, so it's best suited for adults — though older kids who enjoy live theater are welcome to join.

Getting there
The T is preferred — Green, Red, and Orange Line stops are all a short walk away. If you're driving, the Boston Common Garage is the best option; advance reservations are $14 flat rate after 4 PM.
