The Mel King School is Boston Public School’s only therapeutic day school for students with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges—and it’s also where we gather for worship each Sunday.

What’s special about the Mel King? It offers relationship-based, trauma-informed, culturally responsive education for students up to age 22, most of whom are low-income (89%) and/or students with disabilities (99%).

We work with school leadership to help these students reach their full potential by supporting with events, food and clothing needs, and more.
